BIRTHING THE VISION

TOPPS Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing a safe-haven for youth. Founded in 2002, TOPPS has served over 10,000 families throughout the state of Arkansas.

Annette Dove, the visionary and founder of TOPPS Inc., shares her journey throughout the process of birthing this vision. Dove, who served as the Director of the HIPPY program in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for 11 years made a huge decision in 2002 to resign from her position, where she was grossing over $56,000/year. To bring the vision to life, Annette Dove sacrificed her own living status to build a program that has not only been beneficial to the community, but it has also helped her create a name for herself within the public eye. In 2011, Dove sat with Chelsea Clinton to do an interview for the Brian Williams "Making A Difference" show on NBC which opened doors for other state and national recognition. Birthing The Vision is one more checkpoint on her buck list as she has branched out of her Administrative comfort zone to become an author who shares her journey for all individuals who find themselves desiring to start a business but don't have the finances and must learn to allow their faith to interject where their money cant

I'm truly inspired by Annette's story and testimony. Her faith and courage gave me the strength that I needed to go forth in my business. Her book reminded me of the many promises and blessings God has in store for all of us that the enemy tried to cause me to doubt. -VD
There are times in my journey as a believer and as a business man that I get discouraged. I spend a lot of my own resources to make ends meet for my business and sometimes that means sacrificing things that I desire to do most. After reading Birthing The Vision, I became inspired again. It motivated me to keep pressing no matter how many obstacles life throws in my path. Thank you Mrs. Dove for sharing your empowering story. -Nicholas P.
